This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases made through the Akshora website (“Website”). By placing an order with Akshora, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Cancellation Policy
1.1 Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled free of charge before they are dispatched or before production begins for custom-made products.
1.2 After Dispatch
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
1.3 Custom-Made Products
As our modular kitchens, wardrobes, customized furniture, and made-to-order products are manufactured specifically according to customer requirements, such orders cannot be cancelled, modified, exchanged, or refunded once production has started.
2. Return Policy
We accept return requests only under the following circumstances:
- The product was delivered in a damaged condition.
- You received the wrong product.
- The product has a manufacturing defect.
- Important accessories or components are missing.
- The delivered product does not match the confirmed order.
Return requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of delivery.
3. Conditions for Return
To qualify for a return:
- The product must remain unused and in its original condition.
- Original packaging, invoice, labels, manuals, warranty cards, and accessories must be available.
- The product should not show signs of misuse, improper installation, or accidental damage.
- Clear photographs and an unboxing video may be required for verification.
Akshora reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any return or replacement request.
4. Non-Returnable Products
The following products are not eligible for return:
- Modular Kitchens
- Custom Furniture
- Customized Wardrobes
- Made-to-Order Products
- Products damaged due to improper handling after delivery
- Products installed, assembled, modified, or altered by the customer
- Products with normal wear and tear
5. Replacement Policy
If a product is found to be damaged during transit or has a verified manufacturing defect, Akshora will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the product;
- Replace the defective part; or
- Replace the complete product where necessary.
Replacement will be subject to inspection and stock availability.
6. Refund Policy
Refunds are applicable only if:
- The order is cancelled before dispatch and production has not started.
- Akshora is unable to provide a replacement for an approved return.
- The order cannot be fulfilled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method used during purchase.
Bank processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Shipping, installation, customization, and handling charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by Akshora.
7. Return Process
To request a return:
- Contact Akshora Customer Support within 7 days of delivery.
- Share your Order ID, invoice, photographs, and an unboxing video (if available).
- Our support team will review your request.
- If approved, we will arrange product pickup or provide return instructions.
- After inspection, the replacement or refund process will begin.
8. Quality Inspection
All Akshora products undergo strict quality inspection before dispatch. Minor variations in wood grain, texture, colour, fabric, polish, or finish are natural characteristics of furniture materials and are not considered manufacturing defects.
